Creating Meaning: In 2000, I finally realized - the only person who can decide what makes my life and career meaningful is me. Since then, every step has been worth it
Founder and Managing Director Jill Allemang established jallé as a of result changing her professional choices at mid-life. She challenged her own views about what made a career valuable and how it can evolve.
Jill described this experience in a collection of essays titled ReArchitecting: One Business Woman's Mid-career Learning Sabbatical. She later brought together colleagues who read the book and said, “Jill, we need more of that!” They wanted a better way to define their purpose and more courage to move towards it: the idea that is now jallé was born.
The company has since evolved to serve the broader needs of developing careers, talent and potential - with perspectives and techniques to "bring out the best in yourself and in others, too."
Before founding jallé
Jill worked 15 years with Fortune 100 manufacturer The Dow Chemical Company – eventually as a global business director based in Switzerland – and previously in sales, marketing, product management, and public relations. She also co-chaired the company’s global women’s network.
Jill then served leaders of Global 2000 companies in North America, Europe and Asia to engage their employees in strategy, through the visualized dialogue practices of the US-based leader in this field, Root Learning, Inc.
From October 2007 through September 2009, Jill served her client Gibbs & Soell Public Relations as Managing Director of it's Zurich office.
