Inge Van Halst

Inge Van Halst brings strong international experience in advertising, marketing communications, internal communications and public relations - as well as her own authentic career change perspectives - to jallé clients. She has worked in agencies, professional organizations and large, global companies, including Dow Chemical Europe (Horgen, Switzerland) and its subsidiary SAFECHEM Europe, Hoffmann - La Roche (Basel), Dow Corning Europe (Brussels, Belgium), and Van Luyken Public Relations & Public Affairs (Brussels).

Since beginning a career change in 2009, Inge has explored what made her professional work meaningful - including how to combine it with a young family.  Her evolving perspectives have supported steps in new directions that build on her communications foundation.  She has specifically studied recent research from iOpener (UK) about the connection between employee happiness and organizational productivity.

Originally from Belgium, Inge has lived and worked in Switzerland since 1998. She holds a Master of Arts in European Public Relations & Communication from Exeter University (UK), a Diploma of European Higher Learning with a focus on Public Relations, from the Central European University of Nancy (France) and a degree in Romanic Philology friom the University of Antwerp (Belgium), where she specialized in French literature.

Inge is fluent in Dutch, English, French and German, plus brings good knowledge of Spanish.
